Judge upholds suspension for Portillo

An administrative judge today upheld a one year suspension for Wendy Portillo, the St. Lucie County teacher who allowed her students to vote a boy out of class.

She should be given a medal....she was dragged through the mud by the school board and this psycho parent. We need to bring back corporal punishment in our school system. Maybe it would keep some of these elementary brats from becoming such hoodlums in middle school. Teacher's and administrator's hands are tied with disruptive students. The school system spends so much time having meetings to discuss bad behavior, instead they should just dole out some corporal punishment, end of story..No meeting..End of discussion!

This is indeed a step in the right direction, this woman still should be fired, she crossed the line, by a mile.
