LAKE WORTH, FL -- "Good morning, my name is Dr. Casanova. How can we help you today?" Patients visit the Integral Clinic in lLake Worth if they have the flu or need their yearly medical check-up. But at a time when many have economic struggles, some are not able to do that because they don't have health insurance. Others can't afford to pay for a doctor's visit.

Dr. Rene Casanova says recently the clinic decided to do something to help. "And what we are trying to do is to institute a program where we are going to defer the provider's fees for the patients coming into the office to provide no expense at all for the provider's service". Dr. Casanova says he wants to make sure people who are sick get treatment. The clinic is also offering help for diabetics. "We will also be doing free diabetic screenings, glucose screenings and free urine screenings complimentary for the patients."  Casanova says there are three health care providers and medical assistants to see about 20 people every day.

Once the patient is diagnosed, they can get their prescription filled at a discounted rate."To try to help the community and the patients in this area to do the best that we can to provide good medical services.

There are three locations for the clinic, Lake Worth, Jupiter and Deerfield Beach in Broward County. For more information, call the Integral Clinic at 561-540-4446. The Lake Worth clinic is located at 2311 10th Avenue North, Suite 14.
