Headless animals found at Fla. sheriff's office

VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating after a someone left a bag containing a headless baby goat and a headless chicken at a Treasure Coast sheriff's office.

The black bag was found Feb. 14. Also inside it were a quarter, a nickel and four pennies.

Indian River County officials say it may have been an attempt to place a curse on sheriff's office workers.
