The dog walker looked around and saw Karen Fletcher at the bottom of a steep embankment, partially in water.  At this time, police do not believe foul play was involved, but they are awaiting autopsy results.

Meanwhile, police say Fletcher's dog, named Casey, was by the canal running back and forth trying to get help for her master. Casey has been taken to the Tri County Humane Society and is in need of a good home.

If you are interested in adopting her, please call them at 561-482-8110.The Tri County Humane Society is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00am to 4:30pm.
