Want to boost your productivity? Study says: Look at adorable animal photos

Researchers at Hiroshima University have discovered a novel way to increase productivity.
Exercise? Nope.
More sleep? That's not it.
What the team found was that when they showed university students pictures of baby animals before they performed various tasks, the students did more productive work.
According to The Washington Post, forty-eight students were recruited to do a simple task, similar to playing the board game Operation. They had to drop various body pieces into holes without touching the edges.
Students did this under a few different conditions - after seeing pictures of baby animals, after seeing adult animals, and after seeing pleasant foods. By far, the cute baby animals resulted in the best results.
