(WLWT/NBC) A Kentucky police officer had a scary moment recently while on patrol.
The officer from the Kenton County Police Department was driving down the road in his cruiser when a deer came out of nowhere.
The large and very agile deer ran out into the street and hit the windshield of the car.
The officer was able to brake and steer away from the deer to minimize the impact.
Amazingly, the deer got up and ran off into some nearby woods. The officer also escaped injury.
The police car got the brunt of the damage and is being repaired.
