In the country, vandals tip cows.
In San Francisco, vandals tip Smart cars.
It happened to three of the tiny vehicles between sunday night and monday morning.
While the images of the pocket-sized cars might be amusing, it's no laughing matter to San Francisco police.
They are investigating the crimes as felony vandalism.
One man was outside around 1 a.m. Monday morning when he spotted a group of flippers in action.
"All of a sudden I just see 8 hooded figures walk out from the corner over here and walk up to the car, I thought they looked like they were up to no good, and then sure enough the walk up to this Smart car right here, all huddle around it, and then just lift it up and set it on its hind legs like a dog sitting on its hind legs," said Brandon Michael.
