Penfolds 168-thousand-dollar wine for sale

MIAMI - A winemaker in South Florida is showcasing a ridiculously expensive wine.

The winemaker says the bottle will cost about 168-thousand-dollars.

It's technically not even a bottle.

The wine is stored in a sealed glass ampoule, which the winemaker says will help preserve the wine's quality. There's no cork, since there's no opening in the glass.

Peter Gago, chief winemaker at Penfolds, says the company will send someone to open the ampoule, wherever the owner wants to drink the wine. "...and you're paying for the experience too, we will travel anywhere in the world, to the top of Mt. Kilama to open this ampoule anywhere."

The wine and its casing were on display at an event in Miami.
