MOUNT PEARL, Newfoundland - A disabled rabbit in Canada is developing quite a following after her story appeared on Facebook.
There's no hip-hopping for the bunny named Dolly.
She has a number of health issues including a pair of paralyzed hind legs. But this rabbit isn't letting that get her down.
In fact, she gets around pretty well on a pair of custom made wheels.
Owners Renee Thompson and Brad Coffin posted Dolly's story on Facebook.
The couple says they wanted to let others know that disabled animals can still live happy lives.
Coffin made the wheelchair for Dolly out of a child's toy car.
He said it’s very stable and allows the bunny to run around and act pretty much like a normal rabbit, but with wheels.
