Two brothers from West Palm Beach who have recently found fame through social media are bringing their talents back to their home town.
Marcus and Cody Johns each have acquired a large following on their Vine profiles. The popular video-sharing app owned by Twitter allows the user to record segments linked together in a continuous six second loop.
Cody told us that when he discovered Vine, he immediately got his brother Marcus using the app and he took off from the very beginning. Marcus already has 1.3 million followers and his brother Cody 346 thousand followers, both growing daily.
Cody who now lives in California pursuing his acting career, is back in town with his brother Marcus preparing to make their second "Super-vine".
More than 500 people gathered at the Santa Monica pier in California when the brothers asked fans to be a part of a Vine. Below is their first supervine from California.
Now they are inviting their Florida fans to be a part of their next Vine tomorrow at CityPlace in West Palm Beach. Both are asking fans to meet at the CityPlace fountains this Saturday, July 13 at 4:00 p.m.
Cody told us, "We really want to meet some of the people that watch our videos in person. We want to make ourselves available to meet them and to thank them for supporting our videos and bringing Marcus to where he is now."
Cody said that they both are using Vine as a platform for their careers, but most importantly they want to set a great example for kids with family-friendly comedic videos.
