Facebook has come through for a Missouri dad in a big way.
John Berlin reached out to the social network recently, pleading to have a "Look Back" video of his son, Jesse.
The 21-year-old passed away suddenly in 2012 and John was unable to access his account and "Look Back" clip -- a 62-second video using photos and comments previously posted by Facebook users.
The grieving father's personal appeal to founder Mark Zuckerberg prompted the Facebook team to release a retrospective video tribute, which John posted to his own Facebook page on Friday.

"I just want to thank everyone for all the shares and support," John wrote in the post. "We couldn't have done this without you. This is the official Facebook video of my son Jesse Berlin."
Facebook typically disables the accounts of people who have died. But the company said in a statement Thursday that Berlin's request "moved us to take action" and suggested Facebook might alter its policies on information posted by users who later died.
