TONTITOWN, Ark. -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas has released video of a dramatic shoot-out that took place Sunday after a traffic stop.

In the video you see the suspect firing at the officer, but you should know he wasn't injured.

Washington County Corporal Brett Thompson made the traffic stop Sunday afternoon, but it took a while for the driver to actually stop.

When he did, he jumped out of the car firing right into the windshield of the deputy's vehicle.

Corporal Thompson returned fire and multiple rounds were exchanged before the suspect drove away.

29-year-old Luis Cobos-Cenobio was arrested a short time later and was found with a wound to his left arm and shoulder.

He was treated at a hospital then released into custody.

Cobos-Cenobio is currently being held at the Washington County detention center on four counts, including attempted capital murder and an act of terrorism.

No officers or deputies were injured in the incident.

Arkansas State Police will be investigating the officer-involved shooting.
