Emma Anderson video: Singing grandma kicked off Miami Metrorail family says

An elderly woman in Miami is claiming a security guard forced her to get off the Metrorail after she refused to stop singing.

Passengers recorded the incident on cell phone video.

82-year-old Emma Anderson was singing religious hymns and tapping her thigh with a rolled-up newspapers.

Wsvn.com reports the guard asked Anderson several times to stop singing before grabbing her cart and escorting her off the train.

"It was not right for them to drag her off the train," said Donal Anderson, the rider's son told WSVN.

Miami-Dade transit officials say they have a noise policy which prohibits singing, dancing and playing instruments.

Local10.com reports the Anderson family believes Emma suffered injuries and they have filed a police report over the matter and hired an attorney.
