(NBC NEWSCHANNEL) Some students in southwest Louisiana experienced some very scary moments Wednesday.
A school bus driver tried to drive through floodwater in the town of Iowa.
Video captured the bus as the driver tried to make it to the other side of the water. The vehicle ended up tipping to the right and getting stuck.
Calcasieu Parish school officials say the students were rescued safely and no one was injured.
Just a reminder to drivers, when you see standing water, it's hard to tell how deep it really is, so the best advice is to turn around, don't drown.
