The Help Desk is part of 5's year-long commitment to helping solve the housing crisis. It is a resource to helping you get answers to your housing-related questions. This one-on-one advice is free. And there are several ways you can get involved.

Wednesday, September 12th (6:30am-8:30am & 4:30pm-6:30pm)
General Housing Information: Volunteers can answer your questions about foreclosure prevention, short sales, modifications, government programs and more.
Wednesday, September 19th (6:30am-8:30am & 4:30pm-6:30pm)
Refinancing: volunteers will be able to answer your questions about trying to refinance your home to a lower mortgage rate. They can also give you advice about the government's refinancing program.
Wednesday, September 26th (6:30am-8:30am & 4:30pm-6:30pm)
Credit Repair: Volunteers at the Help Desk can answer questions about repairing your credit after a foreclosure, short sale or missing payments so you can be a viable homeowner in the future.
Wednesday, October 3rd (6:30am-8:30am & 4:30pm-6:30pm)
First-time homebuyer programs: Help Desk volunteers can provide information to interested first-time buyers. They can explain the process and talk to you about grants that could help you with a down payment or closing costs.
