Too much running can shorten lifespan, says study

A new study just released suggests that too much running can be bad for your health.

After examining 3,800 runners, researchers from the Cardiac Research Institute in Pennsylvania say high-mileage runners may have a shorter lifespan.

In fact, the study said runners had the same life span as someone who doesn't exercise at all.

Researchers say it's best to run at a moderate pace two or three times a week for a total of two and a half hours only.
