Campaign signs disappearing from Boca Raton neighborhood

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Toni Wolf isn't hiding who she's voting for in November. In fact, she advertises it right in front of her Boca Raton home.

But the President Barack Obama sign in her front yard is actually her second. She says her first one was stolen.

"It's a violation of my free speech right and it's a sign of intolerance," said Wolf.

Meanwhile, volunteers at the Organizing for America-Florida on Federal Highway are busy during the home stretch of the campaign. But according to Wolf, the campaign perhaps needs to do even more to combat the GOP.
"I know there are many Obama supporters in Boca Raton, but you could not tell it because all you see are Romney signs."

As far as Governor Romney supporters go, volunteers for the Palm Beach County Republican party haven't  seen any stolen signs yet.

"We take great pride in putting the signs out, although every election you do see and hear of that happening, I haven't seen that this year," said M argi Helschien, Palm Beach County R epublican Party Vice Chair.

The Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office has no open cases of political sign theft, but it is considered petty theft, and carries a punishment of possible fines and possible jail time.
