OCALA, Fla. - Ocala police say a nightclub bouncer shot and killed three co-workers because he was angry over getting "punked."
Police responded to AJ's Bar on 11 East Silver Springs Blvd. around 12:45 a.m. early Sunday morning where they found three men with gunshot wounds laying on the sidewalk outside the bar.
Two of the men were shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Another was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers say Andrew Joseph Lobban, 31, of Ocala admitted to shooting the men because one of the victims played a prank on him, videotaped it and showed it to the other two victims and they all teased him over it. Lobban told police he had been angry at the men since the incident occurred.
He was arrested Sunday morning and will be charged with three counts of First Degree Murder.
Officers and a K-9 were able to locate a handgun in a nearby trash can but they have not yet linked the gun to the crime.
Two of the victims have been identified as Jerry Lamar Bynes, 20, and Josue Santiago, 25, both of Ocala. The third victim is from Belleview, Fl., but his identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Lobban worked with the victims as bouncers at a nightclub called Ocala Entertainment Complex.
