Sleepover at the Zoo - Double, double, toil and trouble, are you brave enough to spend a night at the Palm Beach Zoo (1301 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach)? Guests are invited for a special Halloween-themed "Spooky Snooze Family Overnight at the Zoo," this weekend! Enjoy an evening of pumpkin painting, night-time tours, animal encounters, games, a pizza snack and a continental breakfast. Zoo staff will unmask the "creatures of the night" and show that they're not so scary after all! And yes "mummies" and/or daddies must attend. $40; Saturday 6:30 p.m. - Sunday 8:30 a.m.

Fire Fest - Fire against Fire! It's Fire Fest 2013, and yes that means fun for everyone at Dickinson Park(16450 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound)! Spend a day at the park, have some fun, and learn about the importance of prescribed fire in Florida, safety awareness, and preserving Florida's unique natural areas. The fun-filled day will feature live music, Spooky Trail, campfire stories, marshmallow roasting, hayrides and swamp buggy rides, prescribed burn demonstrations (weather permitting), Smokey Bear, "Muck Monster of Lake Lagoon," Nature Center & kids' activities, exhibitors, live animal presentations and touch tank. Free with Park admission; Saturday 1 p.m.- 9 p.m.

Royal Palm Green Market - Avocados? Green Peppers? Cabbage? Sound good? then you need to head to the first Green Market of the year this weekend in Royal Palm Beach (573 North State Road 7, Royal Palm Beach). Embrace your community and support locally grown and organic products on display at the Green Market and Bazaar. Come and visit some of the areas finest vendors selling a wide selection of produce ranging from fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices, fresh flowers and plants to everyday favorites like jams, jellies, pickles & hot sauces And don't worry, there will be many complimentary treats including artisan foods, baked goods and a unique selection of artists and crafters. 5K run - Ready. Set. Go! The Parks & Recreation Department of North Palm Beach will be hosting their annual 5K Ghost Run (Anchorage Park, 603 Anchorage Drive, North Palm Beach) this weekend! The 3.1 mile course takes runners through the beautiful Anchorage Park and Country Club neighborhoods in North Palm Beach. The course is certified by USA Track & Field and timed by Accuchip. This years race will also feature a 1K Goblin Run for youth 7-10 years old and a 100 yard Spooky Sprint for children 3-6 years old. $25; Saturday 7:30 a.m.

Fall Festival - It may not feel like fall, but according to the calendar, it's fall! Don't Miss Wellington's 2013 Fall Festival at Village Park this weekend! Grab a costume and get ready for an evening of family-friendly "spooktacular" fun at Wellington's Fall Festival at Village Park (11700 Pierson Road, Wellington). Visit the Haunted Hallways if you dare, or the petting zoo, hay rides, trick or treating, face painting, bounce houses, on-stage performances and more! There will also be a costume contest for the scariest, most original, and best look-a-like character costumes.  $10 for children, $5 for adults; Saturday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
