LAKE PARK, FL --Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an attempted robbery at a jewelry store at 900 Federal Highway.

PBSO says the owner buzzed a woman into the Jewerly Exchange and when she entered three men entered behind her. 

Deputies say there was an altercation then shots were fired by the suspects and the clerk. 

No one was hit by the gunfire and the suspects fled the business on foot according to investigators.

Deputies are searching the area around the store.
