According to inspectors, more than a dozen live roaches temporarily shut the doors to Sushi Masa (2282 N. Congress) in Boynton Beach.

Employees told us the owner wasn't available, but gave us a phone number to reach him at a Boca Raton location. We still haven't heard back despite more phone calls. Customers are speaking out.

"So when you saw us this morning what did you think?" NewsChannel 5 Consumer Watchdog Jenn Strathman asked customer Rhonda Rogers.

"Our hearts stopped," Rogers said. "That's what we have pest control for, you know when you come out to eat you expect good quality, you expect good food."
