Pepsi, real sugar: Soda company to ditch high fructose corn syrup starting this summer

Pepsi has announced they are ditching high fructose corn syrup in three new formulas.

The new products will all be sweetened with "real sugar", according to "Beverage Digest".

The site reports "Pepsi, Pepsi Vanilla and Pepsi Wild Cherry" will all be made with "real sugar" when they hit stores this summer.

The company has not offered further comment on the change.

Some consumers are increasingly showing concern over the use of high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
