JetBlue to fly new nonstop service to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

You will have more options to fly to Washington, DC this winter.

JetBlue plans to begin new nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Republic Airlines doing business as US Airways Express  already offers nonstop flights between both regions.

The new service will begin on December 18, 2014.

“Washington, DC is an excellent market for service expansion for PBI.  The addition of service will help meet the demands of our passengers and increase the scheduling options as people plan their travel.  We believe JetBlue will see a very positive response to the flight,” Bruce Pelly, Director of Airports for Palm Beach County, said in a statement.

The new flights will operate in the winter.

JetBlue is also adding nonstop flights from Washington to Fort Myers.

The airline announced introductory fares through June 20, 2014, starting at $84 one way to Fort Myers and $94 one way to West Palm Beach. Travel must take place between January 6 and February 11, 2015 excluding Fridays and Sundays, the airline said.
