Iraq conflict could mean increased gas prices

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - After weeks of prices declining at the pump in Florida, experts at AAA said there may be changes on the horizon.  Prices at the pump could increase 5 cents to 20 cents in the coming weeks.

Violence in Iraq continues, contributing to the possible increase. 

The country is the second largest crude oil producer for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. 

As the crisis in the region continues, experts say prices at the pump in Florida could respond with an increase.

Sunday, the average for a gallon of regular gasoline in Florida was $3.57.  The national average was at $3.66 a gallon.
