AT&T will bring over 200 new jobs to South Florida. It plans to fill nearly 235 retail positions from Key West to Vero Beach.
There are 60 job openings in Palm Beach County and 20 on the Treasure Coast, AT&T said in a release on Monday.
Over 40 of the new positions will staff two new AT&T Miami stores slated to open in October.
About half of the job openings are newly created jobs. The open positions will be for retail sales consultants and retail sales managers .
"Investing in our local retail sales force will not only benefit customers but also the local economy," said Carlos Blanco-Sposito, VP/GM for AT&T's South Florida market in a news release.
AT&T is one of the largest employers in the U.S. and the nation's largest private employer of full-time union employees.
