Here is a list of camps, attractions, and simple things to do in South Florida during Spring Break 2018.

BOCA RATON

FAU Soccer Academy
Looking for a fun-filled opportunity to develop your skills and get to know the FAU Women's Soccer Team? Our day camps are geared mainly towards local players of all ages who want to work on increasing technical ability in a fun and challenging environment with the FAU coaches and players.
March 19 - 23, hours daily are 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (camp ends at noon on Friday). This is for ages 5 - 14 and costs $260 for the full day program and $160 for a half day.

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
Animal Adventures Day Camp - March 20 - 22 from 8:30 a.m. to noon for grades 3 - 5.  

Cost per child per day: Member $25 Non-Member $30.

Day 1 - Shark Science: Find out about the fascinating lives of sharks. We will have a fun day of shark-themed games and lessons, and even get up close with our stingrays
 
Day 2- Animal Anomalies: Platypuses, pangolins, penguins and more! We’ll learn all about special animals with amazing adaptation combinations.
 
Day 3- Sensational Sea Turtles: Come discover why Florida is so important to these fascinating marine reptiles, and see them up close in our Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility.
Cost per child per day: Member $25 Non-Member $30.

Island Camps and the City of Boca Raton
Learn to surf March 19 - 23. Join us at Red Reef Park for Boca Surf School.  Instructors provide fun, safe, and educational instruction to the sport of surfing.  Campers are dropped off in the morning, 9:00 a.m., enjoy surf and beach activities all day, then get picked up in the afternoon, 3:00 p.m.  The camp is for ages 6-13.

DELRAY BEACH

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
Visitors are surprised to discover a century-old connection between Japan and South Florida. It is here that a group of young Japanese farmers created a community intended to revolutionize agriculture in Florida.

Tickets: Adults $15, Seniors $13, Children (6 - 17) $9, children under 5 are free.
They are opened Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

JENSEN BEACH

Spring Break Camp - March 12 - 16 from 9 a.m - 4 p.m.

Pricing:
Non-Members - $145/week, $40/day, and $25/half day
Members - $125/week, $35/Day, and $20/half day

Little Princess Spa
Spring break Camp - for ages 4 - 12. Campers will do arts & crafts, watch movies, take dance lessons, learn about self-care, etiquette & modeling, yoga, spa services, science projects, art, tables games and sports. It runs March 12 - 16 daily from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.  (1 day/$55, 3 day/$150 5 day/$250)

JUNO BEACH

Loggerhead Marine Life Center
Spring Break Camp - Register your aspiring scientists to follow in the footsteps of our marine biologist staff members as they learn the journey of our sea turtle patients through their recovery and what conservation tools they can employ to make sure no sea turtles get injured on their watch! One day and multi-day sessions available.

Cost: Daily rate: $45/child
Weekly rate: $195/child

JUPITER

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary 
The Sanctuary offers visitors a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about Florida’s wildlife and natural environments.  This unique refuge combines a nature center with a wildlife hospital.  Admission is free but they do accept donations.

The Incredibles Theme Spring Break Camp, grades K – 5
Explore acting with The Incredibles! Students will explore acting, voice, and movement with a The Incredibles theme, culminating in a showcase for family and friends on March 23 at 2 p.m. in the Conservatory. Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; $215.
 
More Incredibles! Afternoon Spring Break Camp, grades K – 5
Students will explore acting, voice, and movement with a “More Incredibles!” theme, culminating in a showcase for family and friends on March 23 at 6 p.m. in the Conservatory. Monday – Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m..; $100.

STEM Studio

Five-Day Spring Break Camps 
Code Bot: March 19-23, 2018 (Ages 7-14)
Robots are taking over and there’s only one way to stop them: start speaking their language! Learn how you can take back control as we teach you to code using some of our robotic friends. $305 for a one-week session.

One-Day Spring Break Camps
Circuit Scientists: March 26, 2018 (Ages 7-14)
Breadboards are circuit boards that don’t require the use of solder, so you can science in a safer way! Come learn the basics of circuitry and let the bulb in your head shine brightly. $50 for a one-day session.

LOXAHATCHEE

Lion Country Safari
Florida’s only drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park.  You can spend 4-5 hours on safari with over 1000 animals. With animal displays and encounters, animal feeding experiences, 5 rides, water sprayground, food, shopping and more, you are sure to have a memorable experience at Lion Country Safari.

STUART

Florida Oceanographic Society
A 57-acre marine life nature center located on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, FL situated between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean. As a leading state and nationally recognized environmental organization, Florida Oceanographic offers educational programs and research that leads to healthy coastal ecosystems.

Hours: Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.  
Costs: Adults $12, Children (3-12) $6, Children under 3 are free.

YMCA - Richard C. Geisinger Branch
Spring Break Camp is available ONLY for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Bring plenty of drinks/snacks. Lunch options (pizza, subs, etc.) will be available each day at additional cost (cash only, paid at drop-off).
Costs: members - $26.00, Non-Members - $31.00

TEQUESTA

Jupiter Pointe Summer Camp
A camp filled with tons of fun and adventure! The kids take fun-filled adventure trips to local area beaches & sandbars. They spend time paddling, kayaking, fishing, and snorkeling. Playing field & water games, jumping in the bounce house while cooling off with the hose. There is plenty of swimming in the cove and the pool.

DATES: March 19 - 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (half day options are available)
COSTS: Daily $80 or Weekly $265 (sibling discounts available)

VERO BEACH

Indian River County Recreation Department
Spring Break Camp - for 8 to 12-year-olds. Drop off is 7:30 a.m. and pick up is at 5:30 p.m. at the Indian River County IG Center.  The cost is $75 for the week.

WEST PALM BEACH

Rapids Water Park
Rapids Water Park is South Florida’s largest water park featuring 30-action-packed acres of attractions including 42 of the biggest, wettest, and most thrilling water slides. The park offers a full day of non-stop fun with something for everyone!
HOURS:
Starting March 10: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Starting March 17: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Starting March 26: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Tickets start at 42.99 for full day passes and $21.50 for sunset hour passes

 

Palm Beach Zoo
Spring Break Camp - Have a WILD time March 19-23 from 8:30 a.m. -4 p.m.! Enjoy all your favorite Summer Zoo Camp activities such as up-close animal encounters, behind the scenes tours, group projects and more, in this fun-filled week!

Weekly Spring Break Zoo Camp Fees (Ages 5-8):

From Couch to Code - March 19-23, 2018 (Ages 7-14) 
Ever wanted to learn how to code, but didn’t know where to start? Well here’s your chance! Come learn the basics of coding using a simple drag-and-drop interface that feels more like playing than learning and you’ll be communicating with computers in no time.

$305 for non-members, $280 for members for a one-week session.
