Christmas lights for the holidays are hung with care, ready you to visit them there!

1) Annie - Boca Raton

The Gist
Annie stars Sally Struthers as “Miss Hannigan,” the devilish headmistress of the Girls Orphanage. This family-friendly musical tells the heartwarming tale of Little Orphan Annie, who stole the heart of a lonely millionaire. Annie features a terrific score with classic songs such as “Tomorrow” and “Easy Street,” all accompanied by a live orchestra.

2) 'Gardens Of Lights'- West Palm Beach

The Gist
Thousands of lights illuminating foliage around the garden.  The presentation was installed by the same company that produces Admirals Cove, and Las Olas's displays.  

This is the first time the garden history it has been open at night.  Since the garden in the flight path of Palm Beach International Airport organizers had to work with them and PBSO to make sure the lights weren't distracting to pilots.

3) Winterfest - Wellington

The Gist
Vanilla Ice's annual block party featuring KVJ from 97.9 WRMF.  The free party includes Santa, the blizzard beach kids winter wonderland, exhibitors, shopping, and musical performances.  Parking is free as well.  Bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit Little Smiles.

4) JTAA Holiday Parade - Jupiter/ Tequesta

The Gist
“Future Christmas” is the theme of this parade in its 42nd year.  Come dressed as your representation of the future.  The parade is memorializing Burt Reynolds and features several bands and floats.

The Deets
The parade route runs from Jupiter to Tequesta along Old Dixie Highway and Alternate A1A on Sunday, Dec. 9 starting at 1 p.m.

5) Delray Holiday Parade

The Gist
Over 70 entries in the parade to help you celebrate the holidays. And get this... Through a special connection to the North Pole, The Delray Beach Fire Department will have Santa riding along on their fire truck.

The Deets
Start location: East Atlantic Ave – east for the Bridge (ICW) to A1A. The parade will head east starting at 6 p.m. and the road will open following the last float/Santa

BONUS) Alan Cumming - West Palm Beach

The Gist
Pondering 10 years as a U.S. citizen, the process of aging and what it feels like to be an immigrant in today’s America, Alan Cumming’s show is what the Tony Award winner calls a “smorgasbord of genres, styles, and tales; plus laughter, tears and, of course, provocation!” The Scottish-American star performs hits from Broadway to P!nk to Peggy Lee and beyond.

The Gist
Historic guest houses decked in Christmas decor with hot dogs, popcorn, and entertainment.
