Memorial Day Barbecue Ribs
Serves 4

What You’ll Need:
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons white vinegar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1/3 cup finely chopped onions
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 pounds baby back ribs, cut into individual ribs

What To Do:
1. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and onions, mix well and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well. Rub the seasoning mixture over the ribs, coating thoroughly.
2. Place ribs in slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over ribs.
3. Cover and cook on low setting 7 to 8 hours, or until ribs are fork-tender. Serve with sauce.

Note: If you want to finish these off on the grill, just place them on a pre-heated grill for 3 to 4 minutes, just long enough for the barbecue sauce to caramelize.

Watermelon Lemonade
Serves 12

What You’ll Need:
3 cups seedless watermelon chunks
8 cups water
1 cup lemon juice
3 cups sugar

What To Do:
1. Place watermelon in a blender and process until smooth.

2. Pour watermelon puree into a large pitcher, add remaining ingredients, and stir until sugar has dissolved. Serve over ice or chill until ready to serve.

Note
We like to garnish each glass with a slice of watermelon for a fun summertime look!
