Sausage and Kale Soup

Ingredients
10 oz. chicken or turkey kielbasa sausage, sliced
1 lb. kale, rinsed and chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans low sodium chicken broth
1 can navy beans, rinsed and drained
1 tsp. dried thyme
fresh ground pepper

Directions
In a 3-qt. saucepan over medium heat, cook sausage until lightly browned. Add kale, onions, potato and garlic and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently until kale wilts. Stir in broth, beans and seasonings. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, partially cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
