Chief Meteorologist Steve Weagle will be making his annual Ride for the Red Cross beginning May 28. For the 13th year, Steve will spend five days riding a bicycle from Sebastian to Boca Raton to mark the beginning of hurricane season and raise awareness of the Red Cross. At the end of his ride, his bicycle will be auctioned off and the proceeds split among the North Treasure Coast, Martin County and Greater Palm Beach chapters.
Steve will be broadcasting from all of his stops and we encourage you to come out and help us cheer him on. This event is always a lot of fun and we hope you'll join us in supporting Steve as he undertakes his long ride.
