A cop has been charged with assault and reckless endangerment after pulling a gun on a man who was working on a haunted house tour dressed as the man from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Sgt. Eric Janik pointed the gun at Mike Morrison, who was dressed as Leatherface from the Chainsaw movie, shortly after the officer and his group headed for the parking lot.

Morrison says he dropped his chainsaw, which didn't have a chain, put up his hands and backed away. He admits to being pretty shaken up.

According to court documents, Janik told responding officers contradicting stories about what he did with the gun and that he smelled of alcohol.

Janik, who had his nine-year-old daughter with him at the time, has been suspended with full pay.
