For all the fans out there who didn't stop believin'… a notoriously reclusive rock singer steps out of the shadows for a surprise performance.
Steve Perry -- former frontman for the classic rock group Journey -- shocks fans when he joins indie-rock band the Eels on stage in St. Paul, Minnesota.
According to Yahoo's music blog, Perry first sang one of the Eels' songs with them but went on to sing a number of Journey classics, including "Open Arms" and "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'."
The crowd in the one-thousand capacity theater sang along.
Perry hasn't performed solo since 1995.
His last performance with Journey was 23 years ago.
