Matt Lauer and Al Roker shed light Thursday morning on a cancer that the Today Show says will affect one in six American men: Prostate cancer.
As part of its No-Shave November initiative, the program is raising awareness on men's health.
The Today Show hosts both agreed to have their prostates examined live on TV.
According to the TodayShow.com Dr. David Samadi said Al's prostate was "a little enlarged, but it's not terrible."
Matt added, "It doesn't hurt at all. Is it the best 34 seconds of your life? Probably not," said Matt. "But if in 34 seconds a (doctor) can detect something that might save your life, what are we talking about?"
