Comedian George Lopez arrested on public-intoxication charges at Canadian casion

The star of the new F-X show "Saint George" has gotten into some not-so-saintly trouble.

Police in Canada say comedian George Lopez was arrested on public intoxication charges.

Lopez was in Windsor to perform at a Caesars hotel and casino.

He was arrested Thursday night after Ontario police received a call from casino security.

The comedian was eventually released with no charges.

Lopez says in a statement via his publicist, Ina Treciokas: "Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning. I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor."

The arrest comes just a week before Lopez' new show "Saint George" premieres on F-X.
