Newly acquitted Casey Anthony has reportedly been spotted in Ohio.
TMZ.com has posted photos of a woman alleged to be Anthony, wearing an Ohio State ballcap and glasses. She was spotted shopping in Ohio, but the website does not say specifically where.
Anthony's whereabouts have remained a mystery since she was acquitted or murdering her 2-year-old daughter three weeks ago. She does have relatives in Ohio, and was previously rumored to seek shelter in Columbus.
Rumors also surfaced that she was living in Geauga County, but the Sheriff's Department told WEWS, the Scripps station in Cleveland, on July 29 those rumors were unsubstantiated.
The photos would be the first images of Anthony since her trial ended. She has tried to stay out of the public eye because of the volume of death threats she received while in prison and following her acquittal.
Anthony was told that she had until 10 a.m. Thursday to report to the Orlando probation office, according to Gretl Plessinger, a Department of Corrections spokeswoman.
"We are prepared to begin her probation," Plessinger said. "Our goal is to treat her like any other probationer."
Wednesday afternoon it was announced that a hearing regarding her probation was changed to Friday.
Her attorney, Jose Baez, said bringing Anthony back to Orlando would only add to what he called the "circus-like atmosphere" around her case. The Orlando Sentinel reports she would not have to attend Friday's hearing.
Anthony's attorney did not say where she was located, only that she was not in Florida when the judge's order was signed Monday.
