Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams showed real class when she reportedly gave up her first-class seat on a flight from Detroit to Los Angeles to a U.S. soldier.
ABC News reports that they learned of the gesture from fellow passenger, ESPN2 co-host Jemele Hill, who was also on the Friday flight.
Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I'm an even bigger fan now.— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) June 27, 2014
The soldier was ticketed for a coach seat.
Hill told ABC News that after the seat switch, Adams met with the soldier briefly by the cockpit then went back to her new seat in coach.
ABC News says the actress’s father was in the U.S. military.
