Tropical Depression 7 has formed in the Atlantic.
Thursday it was located about 1,155 miles east of the Windward Islands.
The system was moving west at 20 mph and packing 35 mph winds.
Slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and the depression could become a tropical storm on Friday. If it is named it would be TS Gordon. The most likely track would take it into the Caribbean on the weekend and then near Jamaica on Tuesday.
