CHATHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- At least five great white sharks are being tracked as they swim near the coast of Massachusetts.

The sharks were first spotted last week off the shore near Chatham, prompting officials to close the beach to swimmers.

Two of the sharks were tagged with electronic tracking beacons on Saturday, and three more were tagged on Tuesday.

Experts say the largest of the sharks is nearly 15 feet long.
