P alm Beach Gardens, Fla. -- BallenIsles member-resident and world-class tennis sensation, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki, ranked No. 10 in the world, took part in a “Battle of the Sexes” benefiting the Kids and Police Tennis Association of Palm Beach County.
"Oh, it's awesome because its nice to affect where you live," said Williams. "It's good to see the young people playing and for them to have support in their lives. I've been out here doing this for two years and its a great tradition now."
The "Mars vs. Venus Celebrity Tennis Exhibition" pitted the women's team of Williams, Wozniacki, Brenda Schultz McCarthy and three other WTA circuit players against a formidable Men's team.
"It's nice to do something for a good cause and to be out here with Venus and some young rising stars," said Wozniacki. "Its good fun and hopefully the crowd enjoyed it as well."
