Timothy Humphrey, local race car driver, starts his career

Timothy Humphrey, local race car driver, has been racing cars since he was 14.

Humphrey has says the sense of speed and concentration he experiences while driving is unlike any other.

His mother traded in their green Volkswagen, that Humphrey was supposed to take to college, to purchase his first race car.

The career-driven driver recently teamed up with Mazda and Project Yellow Light to inform teenagers about the dangers of texting while driving.
