There has been much speculation that Tiger Woods, who recently moved to Jupiter Island, might add the Honda Classic - at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens next month (March 1-4) - to his schedule.
Woods is playing this week in the AT&T at Pebble Beach, which hasn't been included on his schedule in recent years, and was asked about the Honda.
"I'm playing in the future, I just don't know when yet," Woods said. "Does that help you out?"
Not really.
Woods almost certainly will play in World Golf Championships events immediately before (Arizona) and after (Doral) the Honda Classic, and he doesn't frequently play in three consecutive tournaments. But would an early loss in the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona increase the chances of Woods joining the field at PGA National?
No telling.
But that wasn't an absolute "no" on the Honda.
