STUART, Fla. -- One of the largest single-day amateur surf contests is being held this weekend on Stuart Beach and it helps raise money for the United Way of Martin County .
It's called the Single Fin Showdown. Ohana Surf Shop helps put it all together.
What makes this competition so unique is the fact that surfers are paired up with vintage, single-fin boards at random before heading into the water.
Now in its 5th year, the Showdown has raised more than $20,000 for the United Way in its first four years.
