Have the Dolphins raised a white flag with their failure to sign Randy Moss to a contract? Many fans seem to think so. We may never know the real reason the Fins refused to go after the talented but mercurial receiver.
Miami supporters might not be placated if receivers can't get open against the Ravens this week, or if Moss haunts the Fins when he plays against them with the Titans in the game after that.
I personally think it was worth a shot to sign the guy unless he absolutely did not want to be here. The Dolphins so far have shown little ability to stretch the field. None of their receivers has real speed. Marshall is great and Bess is clutch, but neither is a streaker.
The Fins played it safe, just like their offense.
