Local running store owner competes in marathons and offers athletic classes for free

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The owner of Run and Roll at City Place in West Palm Beach has been running for decades and now she wants to give back to the community.

"This is my passion and I want to have the best running store in the country," says owner Patti Kadis.

"I have been a runner for just under forty years," adds Kadis.

She also added 'Iron Man' to her list of credits.

Her eight pound poodle Lilly is also with her every step of the way.

"She's a great runner, she runs every other day about two miles and she specializes in 5Ks," says Kadis.

The store owner is now offering free group power walks on Tuesdays beginning at 6:45 p.m.  If you're interested, the walks begin at the store which is located on Rosemary Avenue in CityPlace.

And after a long week of work who doesn't need a cocktail?  You can have one after a group run also beginning at 6:45pm on Fridays. 

Discounted yoga classes are also offered at a rate of $15.00 a session.
