MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Demetre Baker and Ross Metheny scored late touchdowns and Michel Chapuseaux made three field goals to help South Alabama rally and beat Florida Atlantic 37-34 Saturday in two overtimes.

Mitch Anderson kicked a 23-yard field goal to give FAU (1-6, 0-4 Sun Belt Conference) a 17-14 lead at halftime and the Owls pushed that lead to 31-17 in the fourth quarter behind two touchdown passes from Graham Wilbert.

South Alabama (2-5, 1-2) rallied however, as Baker scored on a 1-yard run and Metheny connected with Gabe Loper from 16-yards out to even the score with 1:09 to play.

Chapuseaux and Mitch Anderson both connected on 37-yard field goal attempts in the first overtime period, but after Pat Moore blocked Anderson's 44-yard attempt in the second overtime, Chapuseaux converted from 35 yards to seal the win.

Anderson converted just 2 of 5 field goal attempts with three blocked kicks.
