Boca Raton, Fla. - If you haven't had the chance to see the Surfing Florida exhibit at the FAU campus in Boca Raton, you're time is limited.
The exhibit will pack up next week and head to Pensacola Museum this summer.
There will be a final day of festivities before it leaves though. Saturday, May 12th will feature plenty of surfing lectures, movies, and slideshows. The event will wrap up with music and drinks so don't miss it! It's a great display!

New School Surf Photography Slide Show
Nicola Lugo works in the water with today's hot talent. Recent Surfer magazine features his photos of the Lopez brothers and Peter Mendia at mysto Caribbean reef.

Film Screening: Surfing at Summer's End
Will Lucas, Surf 64 Productions, in person to discuss his most recent video, a historic documentary that combines vintage 8 mm film, still photography and contemporary interviews.

Old School Surf Photography Slide Show
John Tate Broward bred and shooting since the 1970s.
5pm
Surf Rock and the Music of the "Right" Coast
FAU Associate Professor and Ethnomusicologist James E. Cunningham will present a lecture on history of surf rock from its beginnings in the early 1960s to the present day. His lecture also looks at connections between successive "waves" of surf rock popularity and Floridian instrumental and vocal surf-rock traditions.
Food and Drink: Cash Bar beginning at 4 pm
Beer Sales benefit SURFRIDER Foundation, Palm Beach County Chapter. Food will be available anytime from the Living Room Theatres Cafe, right next to the Schmidt Gallery/Performing Arts building.
