Jensen Beach, Fla. - Jensen Beach is getting ready to see pipes on the beach, large dredges in the water, and lots of heavy equipment.

A 9.5 million dollar dredging project will restore half a million cubic yards of sand on Martin County beaches.

The project is expected to last for the next six to eight weeks. The north end of the public beach at Jensen will be closed until the project is complete.  The last renourishment project was eight years ago.
