LeBron James will be taking his talents from Miami to China this October — at least for a couple of games with the Heat.

James and the Heat will play two pre-season games in China this fall.

They will face the Los Angeles Clippers in both games — Oct. 11 in Beijing and Oct. 14 in Shanghai, the NBA said.

The news was reported late Sunday by Bloomberg news service.

The NBA first started playing pre-season games in China in 2004. This is the Heat’s first time in that country.

The Sun Sentinel, which confirmed the report, noted that the Heat is “in the midst of a multi-year marketing partnership with Chinese beer company Tsingtao.”

That agreement meant the Heat was a likely candidate to take part in the NBA’s China initiative. The Heat’s recent victory in the NBA Finals over Oklahoma City only added to Miami’s allure.

The rest of the Heat’s pre-season schedule — as well as the regular-season schedule — is expected to be announced next month.
