Free Health & Wellness Fair for families

DELRAY BEACH, FL - The Trinity Lutheran School community is taking steps to inspire healthy families.

The TLS Health & Wellness Fair will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the school's gymnasium.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Organizers say more then 30 vendors and local health professionals will offer a spectrum of wellness screenings and health & fitness information.

TLS physical education teacher Julia Kadel created the event.

"I personally feel that a healthy lifestyle is a learned behavior and the earlier I can teach my students about the benefits of living a healthier life, the more likely they are to follow it," says Kadel.

"Additionally for parents, I'm looking to provide information on how they can help their children's healthier lifestyles and maybe evoke change in their own life," adds Kadel.

Trinity Lutheran School is located at 400 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach.
