Volunteer Larry Trammell goes the distance in his role at the Honda Classic.
Each volunteer has to put in three, four-hour shifts. Trammell puts in about 40 hours a year and he's done that for 33 years. He has volunteered at the Honda Classic for the last fifteen years.
On the course he zig zags in a golf cart, delivering drinks to all eighteen holes.
"Three, four cases of cokes, three four cases of water in each cooler, and you got 18 holes, so it's a lot of products," he said.
He takes a week off from his job at Home Depot for this opportunity. A perk is that he gets to play the course after the pros are done.
"I played it three times last summer, and the best score I had, I scored an 82."
This year, Trammel was selected as the Volunteer of the Year for the tournament.
"I just love to do what I do, and help people out as much as I can," he said.
